SO-DIMM and UDIMM are the standard memory module form factor for servers and laptops, which is why Silicon Power expects its latest creations to be usable by both.

Said creations are known collectively as the DDR3L-1333 and DDR3L-1600 Low-Voltage Series.

The 1333 MHz and 1600 MHz UDIMM and SO-DIMM modules will help desktops and notebooks save up to 20% more energy than alternative memory options.

They are also tested for stability, durability and compatibility, making them good for cloud computing and virtualization as well.

Capacities are of 2 GB, 4 GB and 8 GB per module (240Pin UDIMM/ 204Pin SO-DIMM), but the operating voltage is the same across the board (1.35V).

As for latencies, they are of CAS 9 for 1333 MHz and CAS 11 for 1600 MHz.
