14 DAY TRIAL // Fake passports, ID cards, credit cards and even utility bills can be highly useful for cybercriminals. Experts have uncovered a new service on the Russian underground market that allows anyone to generate a fake scanned copy of any of these things.
According to Dancho Danchev, who discovered the new service, it takes only around 40 seconds to generate a fake scanned copy of a passport, ID, credit card, or utility bill.
The service’s owners claim to have a database of over 200 photos for passports and IDs, and a large quantity of identity data that’s randomly used to create the scans of fake documents.
The cybercriminals accept payments via Bitcoin, Paymer, WebMoney and PerfectMoney.
