14 DAY TRIAL // FX has released a brand new teaser trailer for season 7 of its hit series “Sons of Anarchy,” which is also the last one and will premiere on September 9 with a 2-hour special. You can find it embedded in full below.
The end of the previous season broke the heart of millions of fans, as Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) lost his wife Tara (Maggie Siff). Obviously, he doesn’t know who killed her but he’s determined to have retribution.
This is what the 7th season will be about, as the first half of the trailer shows: having lost the person he loved most in this world, Jax is determined to do whatever he can, no matter the consequences, to keep his MC, the Sons of Anarchy or SAMCRO.
There is a new sheriff in town as well: Annabeth Gish joins the cast as Sherriff Jarry, and as you can see in the video, she already has a pretty good idea that Charming isn’t a town even half as charming as its name implies.
Things get really violent towards the end, which seems to support the theory that the series finale of “SOA” will probably be one of the bloodiest on television. Various polls set up online by trade publications have already revealed that fans believe most of the leads will die by the end of this final season, so keep that in mind when you watch this trailer.
Season 7 will also include cameo appearances from rocker Marilyn Manson, actress and rocker Courtney Love, and “Glee” star and singer Lea Michele.
