It shouldn't come as much of a surprise that, when Samsung releases a product, they don't usually stick to just one model, but rather offer plenty of versions to cater for just about every single market niche's needs, and that's also the case right now, since, beside rolling out the ST6500 model, the Korean company also brought to the market the ST95, ST90 and ST65 compact digital cameras. Beside offering ultra-slim form factors and plenty of color options users can choose from, the new digital cameras from Samsung also sport some pretty OK imaging features, such as 16 megapixels for the ST95 and 14 megapixels for the ST90 and ST65, as well as a 26mm wide lens on the ST95 and ST90, and a 27mm wide lens on the ST65 plus a 5x optical zoom lens.

Moreover, the cameras also provide 720p HD Movie recording functions (in fact, the ST95 also supports the H.264 codec), while also providing plenty of built-in effects in order to enable users to unleash their creative sides.

"Today's launch reinforces Samsung's ability to balance our consumers' needs for style and design while still maintaining high performing innovative features," said Mr. Hyunho Chung, Executive Vice President and Head of the Digital Imaging Business, Samsung Electronics.

"We know that our customers are passionate about compact and sleek design and following the global success of the ST60 and ST70, we have upgraded and streamlined the optical performance within the slim-line outer body to meet these demanding requirements. The design has been carefully considered to ensure it meets the requirements and usability needs of our customers for the best camera experience," Mr. Chung added.

According to Samsung, the ST95, ST90 and ST65 are all slated for a February market release, when they'll sell for $199.99, $149.99 and $129.99, respectively.
