Sprint Wireless announced the newest cell phone available in their network: Samsung M300. It comes to replace Samsung A640 and it's the CDMA version of Samsung E790, hence it has similar looks, specifications and features. M300 has CDMA network support on the 800 and 1900Mh bands, using 1xRTT for data. Its dimensions are 91mm x 48mm x 18mm (3.6" x 1.9" x 0.7") and only weights 76 grams.

So what can M300 offer to a possible customer? Like the E790, it has a built-in VGA camera that will allow anyone to take photos and share them via the Sprint's PCS Picture Mail application. M300 features an OLED external display that hides itself when inactive, and lets you see just a bright mirror-like surface. The main display is a 1.9" color TFT with a 128x160 resolution, while the internal display supports 65k colors at a resolution of 96x96 pixels. Sprint Vision service is available, meaning that you can surf the web, check your email or send text messages to friends or family. M300 has several hands-free options, including Bluetooth, and its address book will store up to 299 entries. The battery is powerful enough for a talk time of up to 3 hours. Users will find lots of other features on this new phone, like speaker-independent voice dialing, Sprint Wireless Backup support, picture caller ID etc.

Samsung M300 is available in two color schemes for the moment, silver and red, and it can be bought from Sprint (with a two-year service agreement) for the price of $29.99.

Sprint Wireless is one of the most powerful networks in US and it is part of Sprint Nextel, a fusion corporation created in 2004 by Sprint and Nextel, two companies with great tradition. Sprint Nextel aims to provide instant, simple, enriching and productive customer experience.
