Mobile phone users in Brazil will soon be able to enjoy two new music handsets developed by Korean cell phone maker Samsung, namely the M2310 and M2710. The two music-centric devices come with music-dedicated buttons on the front, similar to those that can be seen with the M7600 BeatDJ, and can be considered some simpler variants of said handset.

The handsets have just been leaked into the wild, and for now the only available details on them are the specification lists, with no info on the availability date or the price tag they are expected to feature. For the time being, it seems that the two devices come with rather similar functionalities, yet one of them is a slider, while the other one is a flip phone.

The new Samsung M2710 is the slider in the equation. It comes with GPRS/EDGE connectivity, although there is no word on 3G support at the moment. In addition, the handset also includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack, as well as FM Radio, Bluetooth connectivity and the “Mobile Tracker” feature, meant to track down the device in case it is lost or stolen.

Other capabilities of the Samsung M2710 include a 2-megapixel photo snapper, and a microSD memory card slot to offer users additional storage space capacity. Furthermore, the new mobile phone is also reported to come with a built-in accelerometer.

The second device spotted now, Samsung M2310, comes with a flip form factor, while also sporting GPRS/EDGE connectivity. The handset would also include FM Radio and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as the aforementioned music-dedicated button and the Mobile Tracker feature.

This would be the only info that leaked on the two devices for the moment, yet we expect more to become available in the near future, so that we can learn what different functionalities each of the handset includes. Stay tuned for more details as soon as they surface.
