Korean mobile phone maker Samsung is reported to move towards the release of another entry-level handset, the C3310. The new device comes with a sliding form factor and should come to the market as a rather simple phone, while also featuring an affordable price tag.

The new Samsung C3310 slider is expected to soon be added to China Mobile's offering, but it is reported to be heading towards the European market as well, and its price should not rise higher than 110 Euros ($150). The mobile phone includes a simple design that is complemented by a set of basic features. It should prove itself to be a great option for those who do not expect their handset to include a wide range of features, and who don't need 3G capabilities either.

What Samsung C3310 has to offer includes quad-band GSM connectivity (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) with EDGE, a display capable of delivering a 176 x 220 pixel resolution, as well as support for 262K colors, along with Bluetooth connectivity, an MP3 player, FM radio and UBS capabilities. The new mobile phone measures 99.9 x 48.5 x 13.8 mm, and weighs 93 grams.

The new Samsung C3310 slider is expected to come to the market featuring three color versions, namely black, silver and blue. As stated above, those who think they could do well without a wide range of features on their handset should find the new Samsung device a great option for them.

And even if its price does not place it among the most affordable simple mobile phones that can be found on the market at the moment, it should still see some traction from the users. For the time being, the Korean maker hasn't announced when the new device is slated for release on the market, yet we should be able to learn more details in the near future.
