MGM and Sony Pictures have released a new extended TV trailer for the upcoming James Bond film, “SPECTRE,” which sees Daniel Craig reprise his role as the deadly 007 agent for the most dangerous mission so far.

The first half of it includes footage already shown in the first official trailer, but the second one finally introduces the fans to the 2 new ladies in Bond’s life: Madeleine Swann, played by Lea Seydoux, and Lucia Sciarra, portrayed by the ever-graceful Monica Bellucci.

Because this is Bond we’re talking about, there’s a lot of chemistry between the handsome secret agent and these beauties, and it’s an exchange with Lucia that finally allows him to say his now-famous line, “My name is Bond. James Bond.” To fans of the franchise, this is almost as good as the car chase shown earlier in the trailer.

“SPECTRE” has had a very rough development, made even rougher by last November’s Sony Hack, which not only laid bare financial and technical issues around it but also made public the script in full.

“SPECTRE” will probably be one of the most expensive movies ever made, with reports saying the budget is likely to top $350 million (€311.1 million). Perhaps even worse is the fact that the script is said to be weak, with a disappointing third act and a predictable twist.

Of course, all these issues could be fixed in time for the release in November this year. Check out the new teaser and let me know in the comments if you find it at least mildly promising.
