In its way towards the houses, and hearts, of Netflix viewers everywhere, Roku’s upcoming HD streaming player paid a short visit to the FCC.

Here it was spotted by Wireless Goodness, who provided us with some pictures of the device.

Needless to say, this looks surprisingly similar with its predecessors except for that small purple line at the base of the unit that reminds us of the Roku LT.

Still, Roku did made some changes to the new HD, which now comes sporting full-sized composite outputs, a feature that has been absent in the newer Roku units.

Other changes include the removal of the SD card slot and the move to a Broadcom BCM7208 CPU with 2GB of flash memory.

The new Roku HD wasn’t yet officially announced, but the Roku 2 HD is currently listed as “Out of Stock,” which means that its launch is imminent.
