14 DAY TRIAL // Since just about every serious office requires some equally-serious multifunctional printers in order to carry out its activities in a normal manner, and for this reason, Ricoh has just introduced a couple of new MFPs within its lineup, namely the Aficio MP C3001/C3501 & MP C4501/C5501 Series.
Replacing some of the company's older products, namely the Aficio MP C2800, MP C3300, MP C4000 and MP C5000, these new, versatile color multifunction products (MFPs) offer enhanced productivity, advanced security and eco-friendly operation for businesses of any size, all with a low total cost of ownership (TCO).
The Aficio MP C3001/C3501 & MP C4501/C5501 Series boasts output speeds of up to 30 pages per minute (ppm), 35 ppm, 45 ppm and 55 ppm for both full color and black and white, respectively.
They also offer a couple of interesting hardware enhancements, including printing from and scanning to a USB clip drive or SD card without network connectivity.
Additionally, an optional USB keyboard is available for easier data entry when using document management solutions, such as Global Scan NX, eCopy embedded and Reform PDC.
It's also quite important to mention that the new Ricoh Aficio MFPs provide various levels of user authentication, data and password encryption and secure printing.
With recent increased focus on HDD security, Ricoh's DataOverwriteSecurity System (DOSS) is designed to overwrite hard drive data after each copy, scan, fax and print job.
Additionally, the hard drive encryption unit helps protect documents, data and frequently used information – such as address books and administrator or user passwords – if the hard drive is removed or stolen.
Other features provided by the Aficio MFPs include faster warm-up and recovery times compared to previous models with Induction Heating (IH) systems, fast first copy out times, automatic duplex and combine copy modes, as well as energy-saving PxP Toner.
The Aficio MP C3001/C3501 & MP C4501/C5501 are available immediately at the suggested retail prices starting at $12,340, $14,750, $16,010, and $19,780, respectively, while pricing and availability for the Aficio MP C4501A and MP C5501A will be announced at a later date.
