New Rayman Legends Trailer Introduces Barbara, the Axe-Wielding Redhead

Ubisoft has released a brand new video for its upcoming Rayman Legends puzzle platformer, which focuses on a new playable character, in the form of Barbara, a luscious redhead who wields a powerful axe.

Rayman Legends is the sequel to the quite impressive Rayman Origins and is set to appear, at least at first, only on the Nintendo Wii U.

We already saw the game in action back at E3 2012 and now, in anticipation of the game’s debut at Gamescom 2012, Ubisoft has revealed a new video with Rayman Legends, presenting a new character named Barbara.

The attractive redhead, as you can see in the footage above, wields a powerful axe that decimates all her foes.

No other detailsare known about her, but it seems that she’s a new playable character that will help Rayman in his quest throughout Legends.

As of yet, neither Rayman Legends nor the Nintendo Wii U has a concrete release date.
