The factory-overclocked video card should be shipping soon, if it isn't already

While Gigabyte is releasing NVIDIA-based graphics cards, PowerColor, one of the brands owned by TUL Corporation, is helping the other camp.

The company has officially introduced the PowerColor HD7850 Fling Force Edition [APAC Limited] graphics card.

Fling Force is the name of the new cooler, which has extra fan blades and, thus, a 10% stronger air flow.

Given the extra cooling prowess, PowerColor could afford a better GPU clock speed, so it factory overclocked the chip from 860 MHz to 910.

The 2 GB of GDDR5 VRAM were left alone though (1200 MHz / 4.8 GHz).

The Gold Power Kit design helps keep things stable and prolongs product life (PowerPAK SO-8, Ferrite Core Choke, solid capacitors).

Other relevant factors include a 256-bit interface, dual-link DVI, an HDMI port and a DisplayPort.
