A brand new video for Prototype 2 has just been released, and it focuses on the world of the new game, which is split up into three distinct areas, the green, yellow, and red zones.

Prototype 2 is slowly taking shape at Radical Entertainment, under the guidance of Activision, and we've already seen quite a few trailers of the game that depicted the main conflict in the new title.

While we already know quite a bit about the powers wielded by the new protagonist, Sergeant James Heller, this new video shines a light on the world of Prototype 2, and how it's going to be much more detailed than the one we already saw back in the original title.

The game's open version of New York city is split into three distinct areas, the green zone, which is relatively normal and doesn't have a major army presences, the yellow one, which is overcrowded and thick with military, and the red one, which is pretty much deserted by regular humans and filled with monsters and infected.

Heller starts in the yellow zone and, as he progresses through the story, he'll access the other two areas and can freely move about thanks to his genetic superpowers.

Check out the video above and get ready for Prototype 2 on April 24, 2012, for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
