14 DAY TRIAL // This may sound bad in theory but, in practice, the idea of releasing a trailer for the official trailer of a film seems to be a winning one for Fox. The movie studio has just released new footage for “Prometheus.”
The film doesn't come out until June this year but, until then, fans have something else to look forward to: the release of a brand new trailer, which will premiere on March 17, and which just got its own preview.

For strangers to the “Alien” franchise, the clip will probably mean almost nothing. For fans, it will bring further confirmation that Scott is determined to make this reboot / prequel the best of the entire series.
“Prometheus” stars Guy Pearce, Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie and Patrick Wilson, and is scheduled for theatrical release on June 8, 2012.
