HP announced the launch of a new line of products aimed at promoting the company's Print 2.0 strategy which is the key to a modern printing experience and which allows users to easily print, create and share their digital content in new and innovative ways.

The manufacturing company introduced several imaging and printing product lines which include compact photo printers, single function and all in one printers and a variety of photo books, all of them aimed at delivering the next generation of hardware needed for increased printing speeds and lower overall costs for both end users and high volume commercial printing. One of the highlights of the new Print 2.0 strategy is the HP Photosmart C8180 All-in-One printer which comes with a rich variety of functions and an affordable price tag of $399. In order to make it easier for users to control the printing process and all related options HP designed the C8180 printer with a 3.5-inch touchscreen that grants access to several menus and options. According to the news site everythingusb.com users can edit and modify their pictures without the need of a computer system.

Integrated into the C8180 there is a multi role CD and DVD burner drive which fully supports the latest technical specifications of the LightScribe disc burning and labeling technology without the use of an additional computer system. Allowing users to move photos or any other kind of information from memory cards and sticks to optical discs, the optical burner drive integrated into the C8180 can also act as an external USB connected optical drive and it can be used in conjunction with just about any computer system.

As the new HP C8180 printer is in fact an all in one solution it also integrates a scanner which uses the exclusive 96-bit, 6-color scanning technology for high quality images. In order to ensure a long life for the print cartridges, the new HP printer comes with six of them and because the printer is network enabled, users can connect to it on both wired and wireless networks.
