Hudson Entertainment has just confirmed the availability of
Fishing Master at a new price point of $29.99. The price itself is a quite a catch for this an exclusive
Wii title, which makes good use of the Wii Remote and Nunchuck. Other recent news however speak of a
Fishing Rod Controller for Wii Complete with Plastic Fish from Dragon Electronics.
You should check that out too if you're into the fishing-sim genre.
"Fishing Master is the perfect holiday gift this season for any household owning a Nintendo Wii," said John Greiner, President and CEO of Hudson Entertainment. "Featuring a low price point, family-friendly gameplay, and an addictive multiplayer mode, Fishing Master is the best value out there for families and gamers looking for a fun and affordable game to add to their Wii library."
According to Hudson Entertainment, gamers will be using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, for a smooth fishing gameplay experience, as they bait, cast, hook, and battle a variety of different fish in the hopes of achieving the ultimate title of 'Fishing Master.' The game is said to feature varied approachable gameplay styles for both fishing newcomers and veterans of the genre - "old pros."
Players can choose to enter one of the 100+ single-player modes spanning tons of different types of fish to catch, but also a four-player multiplayer mode, for you and your friends to enjoy in the comfort of your living room, without worrying about pesky mosquitoes, tangling your fishing line or getting worms inside in your boots.
As for the the Fishing Rod Advance for Wii mentioned above, it comes complete with a plastic fish (am I the only one that finds this hilarious...?), it has a novel design, it's easy to set up and use (as everything on the Wii), and it's ideal for physical exercise. The Fishing Rod Advance for Wii is now available for $9.95 and you can have a closer look at it up on dragon-electronics.com. I wonder if it's even compatible...
Anyway, just remember that Fishing Master is now available for a new, lower price of just $29.99. Have fun playing the game, whichever method of play you decide to go with.
