New Pokemon Game Will Be Revealed on January 14

A Japanese magazine, called Coro Coro Comics, has a teaser in this month’s edition which suggests that it will have an exclusive reveal for a new Pokemon video game in the edition which will hit newsstands on January 14.

The magazine talks about a “big surprise,” but it does not offer any sort of real information on what the new game might be.

Fans of the Pokemon universe have been speculating for some time that Nintendo will reveal a new Pokemon Grey game, which will combine elements from the White and the Black releases that have seen great success earlier during 2011.

Nintendo has a history of releasing a blend game for each generation, often with significant upgrades when it comes to the gameplay mechanics.

There’s also the possibility that Nintendo might reveal a whole new and improved Pokemon generation for the 3DS handheld or for the new Wii U home console.
