14 DAY TRIAL // A new Pikmin 3 video has just appeared online, this time presenting the three friends of main protagonist Olimar, who'll also be able to lead the Pikmin on new adventures.
Pikmin games have put players in the astronaut suit of Olimar, a being capable of controlling the small Pikmin and using them to navigate all sorts of garden-themed dangers.
Now, for Pikmin 3, Olimar is back with a few friends of his, which have just been presented through a special video by Nintendo.
These new characters include Captain Charlie, Alph, and Brittany, each with different abilities and special puzzle solving skills.
While the video does show a bit of new gameplay, it's still unclear what special features these new protagonists will have as opposed to Olimar.
In an effort to cross-promote Pikmin 3 and the upcoming Super Smash Bros., Nintendo has recently confirmed that Olimar and his Pikmin will appear in the fighting game.
