Following the official unveiling at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the 5-inch Huawei Ascend D2 was launched in China with support for the GSM and CDMA2000 networks of China Telecom.

As can be seen in the photos embedded below, available courtesy of tu.pcpop.com, the smartphone was launched in a white flavor as well, and it looks great.

Clearly, the high-end specs it sports also contribute to its appeal, as Huawei made it official with a full HD 5-inch IPS screen, as well as with a 1.5GHz HiSilicon K3V2 quad-core processor inside.

Furthermore, it comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, as well as with a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with LED flash and full HD video recording. There is also a 1.3MP front camera included.

Huawei Ascend D2 runs under Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform and packs a 3000 mAh battery.
