South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics was rumored lately to be readying the release of a nice range of devices running under Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 platform, among which we've spotted the LG E900 phone, now seen in a new, high-resolution image.

The mobile phone was spotted into the wild before, along with LG Windows Phone 7 devices such as the LG C900 or the LG GW910, all of which are said to be on their way to AT&T's airwaves in the near future.

There are still no specific details available on when these handsets should be released into the wild, except maybe for the C900, which is said to arrive sometime around September 28th, but some other pieces of info on them did surface.

When it comes to LG E900, the latest reports suggest that its maker might push it to the market as Optimus 7.

This means that LG would have it included in its Optimus family, which was launched recently with Android smartphones and a future tablet as its members.

Previously, the handset vendor did confirm that it intends to launch Windows Phone 7 devices in the Optimus Series, and the upcoming LG E900 might just turn out to be one of them.

However, this still has to be confirmed, as does the fact that the LG C900 is set to land on shelves with the LG Pacific moniker attached to it, or that LG GW910 (Panther) would indeed be commercially available, and not only a prototype device, as we've believed until not too long ago.

This live picture of the LG E900 / LG Optimus 7 device, which was seen recently in a leaked video clip, reportedly came out from Windows Phone NL via Twittter (via mobiletechworld).

For the time being, LG's upcoming Windows Phone 7 devices made it into the wild only in a series of rumors and leaks, but chances are that they would become official in a matter of weeks.
