Sony has just confirmed that owners of its PlayStation Portable will be able to score some great new deals soon, as three new PSP Dual Packs will be made available next week, both in retail stores across the U.S., but also as digital downloads from the PlayStation Network.

While Sony is busy hyping up its upcoming PlayStation Vita handheld console, calling it the best mobile gaming device ever, it hasn’t forgotten about its predecessor, the PSP.

We’ve already seen the first wave of these PSP Dual Packs in summer and now Sony is offering three new bundles that pack together some great games that were released for the PSP over the years.

The first combines MotorStorm: Artic Edge and Twisted Metal: Head-on, the second has Patapon and LocoRoco, while the third brings together Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee and Hot Shots Tennis.

These three packs will be released only in the U.S. in January, 2012, and appear both in retail stores, as well as on the PlayStation Network, for $14.99 (around €11.49).
