Lots of video games tend to have their story centered upon evil, and how it manages to destroy everything in its path. This is usually because the main playable character is a good person who tries and eventually succeeds in overthrowing the balance of power and restoring peace, happiness and rainbows all around the world.

But Codemasters and the team at Triumph Studios approached this recipe from another point of view and, thanks to their Overlord franchise, managed to bring the perfect titles for every gamer to let loose the bad guy inside all of us.

With the second full-fledged title in the series released for almost two months, gamers have explored almost all that is inside the retail package, and their hunger for evil is still unsatisfied. That is why Codemasters has just announced that a brand-new DLC pack entitled Battle Rock Nemesis is now available for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Store, for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, respectively.

Priced at £3.19 / €3.99 / $5.00, the DLC add-on will deliver the imposing Battle Rock arena to the Netherworld, where the Overlord has its home. In it, a series of new combat challenges will take place, pitting the playable character against opponents ranging from hunters to gnomes or even Satyr, who is the Empire's Champion, and the fabled Phoenix. The reward for winning such battles will consist of more powerful spells and other in-game items. Also, for the Xbox 360 version players will be able to earn new Achievements worth 100 points.

Sadly though, there’s no word yet on whether this pack will arrive on the PC platform, as Codemasters revealed that an announcement about the platform would be made soon enough. Until then, console owners can still enjoy some new adventures with the evil Overlord in the game.
