New Opera for Linux Release Fixes Multiple Crashes, Download Now

Opera, an Internet browser developed by Opera Software that provides support for RSS feeds, BitTorrent, IRC chatting, contact management, and many other features, is now at version 12.11.1655.

Opera Software is not messing around and has issued another set of important bugfixes for their 12.11 stable branch.

Highlights of Opera 12.11.1655:

• A crash which occurred when using SPDY for HTTPS with proxy has been fixed;
• A crash with contenteditable content inside SVG has been repaired;
• A crash on SVG newspaper demo has been fixed;
• Opera can now open IPv6-address with brackets;
• Opera Linux 2013 public key has been added to deb packages;
• Background tabs no longer change their width after Opera returns from fullscreen mode.
