Today, the Norwegian developer rolled out a new update for Opera Developer channel to build 17.0.1232.0. As promised, the team working on the renovated browser slowly incorporates new features, increasing the functionality of the application.

In this revision, users have the possibility to enable Quick Access Bar, an experimental feature that allows adding bookmarks right under the tab strip. The feature can be enabled from opera:flags, but the bar becomes visible only if turned on from the User Interface section of the configuration panel.

Moving tabs between two Opera windows is also freshly available as an experiment (Allow moving tabs between windows).

Although this option marks a step forward as far as tab handling is concerned, the team still has a long way to come in order to get close to the flexibility sported by the abandoned Presto-powered variant.

Additional changes in this revision generally refer to stability improvements and issues with the well-functioning of various components. The full list of modifications can be accessed on this page.
