Apple has introduced new One to One training sessions at its retail stores. The sessions cost $99 for a full year. One to One is available only for Mac buyers, and only at the time of the purchase on a first-come, first-served basis.

Apple has broken down One to One in three major categories, providing three ways to learn:

· Personal Training Sessions, which offer an uninterrupted hour with a Trainer. “As experts in all things Apple, Trainers provide guidance, support, and creative inspiration,” the company says. · Exclusive One to One Workshops, which offer the opportunity to work with a Trainer on special interest topics. · One to One web page, which lets you personalize your own One to One page and access tutorials, schedule and manage appointments, and explore projects created by others who take the course.

“There’s no better way to get set up, get trained, and get going on your new Mac than with a One to One membership at the Apple Retail Store,” the company states on its web site. “The most knowledgeable Mac people in the world will transfer your files from your old computer, teach you all the basics in face-to-face training sessions, and guide you through more advanced projects. So whether you’re brand-new to a Mac, a seasoned pro, or somewhere in between, One to One will help take your skills to the next level,” Apple states.

The Mac maker further stresses that users mustn't necessarily buy a new Mac right now, in order to attend One to One training sessions, although they must own one, even if it's years old.

“Just drop off your old computer — Mac or PC — and we’ll transfer your files, install any new Apple software you’ve purchased, and put it all in the right places. So from the first time you turn it on, your Mac will be set up the way you like it,” Apple promises potential One to One attendees.

Those who feel like they want to get even more out of their Macs through personal training can sign up online for a Personal Projects session in order to get “a larger block of time” with one of Apple's Trainers.

Visit Apple here to apply for your own One to One training. The company will send you an email explaining how to get started shortly after you make the buy.
