OhmForce is a France-based software company dedicated to producing the most varied and interesting plugins for creating the weirdest sound. Now, OhmForce is no ordinary company as it has managed to release updates for all its products in one pack. Cubase has experienced several operability "issues" while working with OhmForce plugins and the new wave of updates addresses them all.

OhmForce plugins are renowned for their specific fat tone mostly used in ambient productions. Big names in ambient like Boards of Canada or Autechre have been using OhmForce software for a long time and it has definitely contributed to designing the touch of personality. From the weirdest filters to phasing and twisted chorusing effects, the OhmForce are one of the most appropriate tools if you want to re-shape your audio samples for good.

And if it comes to samples, you can check the demo sounds from the OhmForce website and see/hear for yourselves that the French software developers are nothing like a joke: a contraire, I have noticed extremely interesting sound-design and re-thinking among what I have listened to in there.

Now, as I was saying before, OhmForce has pulled it off like no one else and released updates for all the plugin series including the versions as follows:

-OhmBoyz to 1.47 -Frohmage to 1.46 -Predatohm to 1.36 -Hematohm to 1.27 -Mobilohm to 1.17 -Quad Frohmage to 1.25 -Melohman to 1.16 -Melohman PE to 1.05

The most serious update affects the tempo-related experienced problems which caused the host (Cubase) and plugin tempos to differ and become unable of retaining the tempo sync, sometimes making the workflow very hard if not completely impossible in few certain situations. As well, touch automation processes have been debugged. Now, these problems seem to have been dealt with to complete customer and usage satisfaction, the prices have remained the same, the updates are free for those who already own legal copies of OhmForce software.
