Microsoft is really playing the Office 2010 Movie metaphor until the end. While the wait for the official bits of the next iteration of the Office System is still on, the Redmond company is not letting users go without some alternative Office 2010-related entertainment. In this context, having already provided a trailer for the successor of Office 2007, via the Office 2010 the Movie website, the software giant is now offering a teaser, just to keep users on the edge. You will be able to watch the new Office 2010 teaser
courtesy of Microsoft at the website set up when the company announced the upcoming Community Technology Preview of Office 2010.

A Microsoft Office backstage interview is available for your viewing pleasure. JT Arbogast playing Jon Cache is the star of Office 2010 the Movie, and is featured in the interview, discussing some rather uncomfortable topics, including the leaked build that is available for download in the wild. Users will be surprised to find out that Arbogast performed all his stunts in the movie, and they involve extreme keyboard usage, not the stuff to mess with at home.

“I heard there's a leaked version. Have I seen it? No! Do I want to see it? No! I mean, look at my face. I got a pretty good face. But without makeup I can't do what i need to do. My makeup makes my face great. So imagine my face but as a program without the makeup. And that's what the leaked version is. And I hear there's a virus on it. So imagine my face, without the makeup, with a virus, a virus all over my face. That can't be good right?” Arbogast asks. “No one really need to see that,” he adds.

Microsoft will open up Office 2010 to a limited group of testers via the Community Technology Program on July 1st, 2009. Invitations can still be requested via Office 2010 the movie website. As early as May a leaked build of Office 2010 became available for download through torrent trackers and additional third-party sources. Microsoft warned users that it had detected malware-infested variants of the leaked Office 2010 builds.
