Nokia has announced two new handsets from the Nseries at a press conference in Berlin: Nokia N72, and Nokia N73 models.
Nokia N72 has a sleek and stylish design and is available in pearl pink or gloss black. The new N72 is equipped with a 2 megapixel camera with flash and integrated digital music player,
with dedicated capture and music player keys, an integrated browser, FM radio and support for Visual Radio. "The Nokia N72 perfectly illustrates our commitment to offer the powerful performance of the Nokia
Nseries to people based in regions dominated by
EDGE/GSM network coverage," said Pekka Pohjakallio, vice president, Multimedia Computers, Nokia.
Nokia N73 comes with integrated stereo speakers with 3D sound, a large 2.4-inch display, a 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl
Zeiss optics, autofocus and support for Internet photography communities. The handset is compatible 3G or quadband EDGE/GSM networks, and has all the diversity of a powerful multimedia computer enabled with the S60 3rd Edition Software on
Symbian OS. Nokia N73 features integrated digital music player with playlists, equalizer and FM radio. Users can also take advantage of the Nokia
XpressPrint service and print their photos.
Both Nokia's models N72 and N73 are expected to hit the market in June or July 2006.
