At the beginning of this month, Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has unveiled to the world its first handsets running under the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system, in the form of Lumia 930 and Lumia 630, but it seems that more of them might be landing on shelves soon.

Info on these new handsets was spotted in the Nokia Care Suite application, which was updated not long ago to include support for some new handsets.

These phones are running under the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system and are mentioned there only by their model numbers, including RM-974, RM-975, RM-976, RM-977, RM-978, RM-979, RM-1010, and RM-1027.

Nokia RM-1010 and RM-1027 are those that stand up, especially since nothing has been officially confirmed on them as of now, and that they have been also spotted by AdDuplex recently, alongside Nokia RM-1020.

All these phones are said to feature a screen resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, which is supported in Windows Phone 8.1, and which further confirms that they might arrive on shelves with this OS loaded on top.

A fourth new phone was also spotted by AdDuplex, namely Nokia RM-1045, which is believed to be the Lumia 930, given that it sports a 5-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a full HD resolution.

The Nokia RM-1010 and RM-1027 are expected to arrive on shelves as entry-level phones, given their low-resolution screens, and one of them could prove to be the previously rumored Lumia 530, NokiaPowerUser notes.

What remains to be seen is what hardware capabilities the device would pack inside, considering the fact that Nokia has already announced a low-end Windows Phone 8.1 device, the Nokia Lumia 630.

Chances are that it will feature a more compact form factor, along with a lower processor and other downgraded specs when compared to Lumia 630, which should land on shelves next month.

Should Nokia indeed plan the release of a Nokia Lumia 530 handset, it might price it close to the Lumia 520, which is currently the most popular Windows Phone device out there.

This also means that the company will launch it with a focus on emerging markets, since users there are usually looking to purchase cheap handsets that can still deliver decent performance capabilities.

However, with no official confirmation on this, you should take the above with a grain of salt for the time being. Hopefully, it won’t be long before Nokia unveils specific details on its new devices, so stay tuned to learn the news.
