Nokia has just announced that they will open a new flagship store in the UK this autumn. Regent Street 240 will be the address, although it will be open for business only starting with November.

Nokia Flagship Stores have
proved over the years to be excellent solutions for the producer to directly approach its customers. Designers have kept in mind their goal to "set the benchmark in technology retailing through the creation of an upscale, high-energy environment".

The new Nokia flagship store looks to be more than just a place where people can shop. That's a good approach of the matter, as it might prove to be quite difficult to stand apart from the competitors' approach. Simon Ainslie, Managing Director for Nokia UK commented that "In championing the Nokia brand, the Nokia Regent Street store will be dynamic, original and beautifully designed".

The new flagship store will have the flooring and ceiling be silvered birch, in colors similar to those of the Finnish flag. Moreover, it will display a modern style of elegance, with the use of perimeter LCD screens and dynamic translucent walls back-lit by mood-evoking LEDs.

Nokia's products will be available for a live trial, according to their own particular dedicated features and services ready for testing. Each handset will have a large LCD screen that will help the user interact and navigate through the phone's features just like a tutorial. Nokia's idea sounds quite fresh and looks for a different product presentation approach than that brought by this company's competitors until now.

The Regent Street flagship store will also showcase Nokia's Vertu line of luxury mobile phones in a highly stylish lounge. This location is only one of the almost 20 that Nokia intends to launch in the near future in various locations around the globe.

this is a horrible shop... People working inside are rude, don't know more than you about the products, they do not care, they love swinging keys and ID chains with chewing gum in the mouth. Nobody approaches you, everyone is best at avoiding questions and customers.
I went in to ask a simple question, and I was told to go to Carphone Warehouse altough my enquiry was totally Nokia E51 related.
I suggest Nokia close this shop and save money.. It is not only waste of money (the rent, rates, staff, NIC...) but it is also bad publicity for the brand...
Of course if any one cares ....
