Nikon fans are eagerly expecting the upcoming CES2014 and CP+ 2014 shows to find out if the latest rumors regarding new Nikon DSLRs and lenses are true, as well as to learn more about the company's plans for 2014.

The rumors reported in the past month stated that Nikon was about to unveil the successor of its entry-level D3200 digital SLR, the D3300 that will also come bundled with a new Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G DX VRII kit lens.

Nikon Middle East & Africa announced in a recent post on its Facebook page that the company is organizing a competition called The Nikon Heart of the Image Challenge. To participate in this competition you must submit a breathtaking, emotional image on Nikon MAE Facebook page via private message along with your country of residence, email address, and contact number.

The competition will award two lucky winners a brand new Nikon DSLR camera set for launch on January 17, 2014. In addition to that, the winners will also be awarded a unique, adrenaline-packed photography experience. One of the winners will be chosen by Nikon MEA, and the other one will be the entry with the most number of likes and shares.

In addition to the two winners, 100 qualifiers will have the chance to win an invitation to Nikon's VIP Launch Event that will take place in Dubai and where all 100 qualifying photos will be exhibited. Nikon MEA will provide airline tickets and hotel accommodation for 12 qualifiers (2 each) chosen from Egypt, KSA, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, and Kuwait that will be invited to the Dubai event.

Nikon is rumored to have two new cameras up for launch next year, namely the D3300 and D4s/D4x, but the prize of this competition most likely will be a brand new D3300.

To participate in this competition you must be a resident of the following countries: the UAE, KSA, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Egypt. Keep in mind that all entries must be submitted until January 2, 2014.
