The D4s is Nikon's newest flagship digital SLR camera, with the manufacturer announcing its development last month at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

While a few days ago it was rumored that the D4s would be revealed today, during an event in Prague, the Nippon camera, lens, and photographic equipment manufacturer is yet to unveil its latest creation.

Online retailer BHphoto previously created a new page in its store for Nikon D4s, but no actual product photo, price, or release date was ever published. Recently, the page on BHphoto has been updated with the first official pic of the upcoming DSLR.

According to the latest rumors, Nikon D4s will feature the same 16MP sensor, a slightly changed body design, and it's possible that it will include the latest Nikon EXPEED 4 processor. Moreover, the camera will come with a price tag similar with its predecessor's, which can now be purchased for $5,996.95 / €4,400.

NikonRumors has also received a new image with the Nikon D4s straight from the Winter Olympics in Sochi. Check out the gallery below.
