There isn't too much time left until the release of the rebooted version of the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” hits theaters, so the promotional effort has reached its peak, in an attempt to draw in as many people in cinemas. This time, the producers hope that guns, violence, witty dialogue, and a catchy hip-hop tune will be enough.

The new trailer for the movie is played to the sound of the hip-hop song “Shell Shocked” by Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign, and fans already claim it's infectious. The result is a very dynamic, action-packed montage, with humorous moments and some profanity since the money got its coveted PG 13 rating.

In other words, it's typical Michael Bay stuff, and some have pointed out that his movies are beginning to all look alike to a point it has become difficult to make a difference between this and his Transformers series.

Probably the highlight of the new video is the final scene, in which the turtles can be seen dancing in an elevator to the same song, busting some moves and then storming out like nothing happened as soon as the door opens on their desired floor.

The movie also stars Megan Fox as April O'Neill and is directed by Jonathan Liebesman, with the aid of Michael Bay, who acts as co-producer. It is scheduled to be released in theaters on August 8 in the United States.
