New, heavily Autotuned track emerges, doesn’t impress

Lil’ Kim is now working on her upcoming album, one that, fans can only hope, will see Queen Bee get her crown back. A new track from the rapper has emerged and, while it won’t be on the album, it’s getting plenty of attention.

Called “Spend a Mill,” the track comes with so much Autotune that it’s almost hard to believe the Lil’ Kim on it is the same one of a few years ago, that used to spit out lyrics like no other female rapper.

There’s no heat, no passion, no aggression on “Spend a Mill,” and everything is lost to the prevailing impression that Autotune killed it.

Fans are not happy with it, even if it was only made for a mixtape. Fans who hated Kim’s previous material, the mixtape “Black Friday,” are doubly upset because they believe the next album will also be a disappointment.

Some of the most skeptical are even saying that Kim stopped making good rap music around the year 2005 and that, with efforts of this kind, she’s only sinking deeper and deeper.

Check out the track above to see if they’re right in their assertion.
