All the mobile kids out there who dream of having their very own mouse-like cell phone can now finally get one (provided they have the necessary amount of money), as a new handset, simply called the Mouse Phone, is available for sale.

Despite its name, the device doesn't look like a normal mouse, but more like a combination between Disney's Mickey Mouse and a Japanese doll. In fact, the Disney logo is featured above the phone's screen, but it's most probably there without the approval of the famous entertainment company.

The new device has a round form when closed and it unveils its screen and keypad only if you open it like you would open a clamshell phone. Despite the fact that it appears to be a toy, the Mouse Phone actually packs lots of features (entry-level ones, but still): a 1.3 inch display with 260K colors and a 128 x 160 pixel resolution, tri-band GMS connectivity (900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) with GPRS, MP3 player with equalizer, Video player, 1.3 Megapixel camera with video recording, WAP browser, 2 embedded games, voice recorder, handsfree, alarm, calculator and other basic features like these.

Measuring 55 x 55 x 55 millimeters (perfect size?) and weighing 80 grams, the Mouse Phone also packs a battery that should provide a talk-time between 150 and 250 minutes and a stand-by time of up to 190 hours.

In case you're really interested in buying one, the Japanese-looking and round-shaped Mickey device is on sale via Special Phones (at this address), the online retailer that recently unveiled the first cheap Ferrari phone. The Mouse handset has a retail price of $225 (about 140 Euros). For this amount of money the seller includes two batteries, a Bluetooth headset, a USB cable and a "neck band".
