The handset resembles the Motorola E10 Texel

It seems that mobile phone maker Motorola might soon come to display a new ROKR phone. The new handset has been recently spotted in some leaked photos, and admittedly it looks like a rather nice device to be added to the company's lineup.

For the time being, no specific name has been unveiled for the leaked model. For what it's worth, the device does seem to look a lot like the Motorola E10 Texel, which, as many of you might remember, first appeared back in the autumn of 2007. At the same time, the E10 Texel has never been officially unveiled, which might suggest that the handset is currently canceled.

The new mobile phone that surfaced to the Web seems to come with a touchscreen display, while the resolution of the screen is expected to be higher than the 240 x 320 pixel one we are accustomed to see. At the same time, the three keys that can be seen under the display on the front of the handset might as well be touch sensitive too.

There are no details on the specification list of the new Motorola ROKR phone, but it seems to come with a photo camera as well, and word on the street is that the snapper might be a 3.2-megapixel one.

No info on the features of the handset is available at the moment either, and neither are details on the availability, price or exact name of the phone. According to some voices on the Web, the device might be called Motorola E11 or Motorola E12, but for the time being that remains only in the speculation area.

For what it's worth, the phone manufacturer might plan to release the handset in the not so far future, and more details on the capabilities of the device will also surface soon.
