As fans are preparing for the grand opening of Comic-Con, where Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner (more or less confirmed until now) will be present, Summit Entertainment has just updated the official website with plenty of goodies for all fans. Among the many surprises included are new photos, videos and lines from the film.

The NewMoonTheMovie website was, of course, launched a while back but, until a few hours ago, it only included one photo of the trio Bella-Edward-Jacob, as seen on the first official poster as well, and the trailer to the film. Now, visitors have the possibility to really get into the “New Moon Spirit” with just a click of the mouse.

Summit Entertainment also thought of a couple of surprises for fans – not that the many photos (in higher quality for those that had already been released) and videos weren’t enough. The first page redirects to two “hidden” pages, The Cullen House and The La Push Reservation, both of which are a must for any true fan, since plenty of surprises are also to be found there.

There is, of course, the Media section, which includes Photos and Videos, but also the About one, where fans will also find plenty of unexpected goodies. All in all, Summit Entertainment has just kicked the promo campaign for “New Moon” into high gear, just ahead of Comic-Con, where it will also premiere never-before-seen scenes from the movie. With November still a long way to go, when the movie drops in US theaters, fans should keep an eye on this space for more details.

Speaking of fans, they couldn’t be any happier for the release of the updated and improved official website. On TwilightSource at least, the second biggest “Twilight” community, the hype has reached almost never-before-seen quotas, with some users being so ecstatic about the launch, that all they could post by means of comment was “OMG!” and “Wow.”

As also noted above, more “New Moon” details should be emerging very soon, as the film is introduced and promoted at Comic-Con. Meanwhile, enjoy the new website here.
