‘New Moon’ Plot Details Are Out

These days, everything is about “Twilight” and the movie that will hopefully write the book on vampire teen flicks once it’s out in November, “New Moon.” Consequently, with the first footage from the film expected to air at the end of next week, and the first official poster already out, it’s no wonder Us Weekly has gone to such lengths to bring fans more inside details on the plot.

One such spoiler would be that, no matter how much Pattinson insisted in the past, the “New Moon” film will be different from the book, because Summit Entertainment needed to keep fans interested in the franchise. For some reason or another, that seemed to be impossible to accomplish if the film stuck with the structure imposed by the novel. In fact, the movie is said to move so farther away from the book that even the ending has been altered, the magazine says.

Another thing that the film will change will be Bella’s way of “summoning” Edward, in that she will take a more “daredevil” approach just to get her loved one’s attention. There is also the question of turning her into a vampire at the end (in the book, Edward promises her he would if she married him), which has been subject to change in the film – but no one seems to know exactly how this scene has been altered.

As Pattinson himself was saying a while back, the producers tried to keep the story as faithful as possible to the one in the book but, understandably, some changes were in order. For instance, the British actor revealed, they had changed Edward’s “voiceover” in the book with appearances of him as an illusion, which means that fans will get to see plenty of Pattinson when the film drops in theaters. This was, as many of you may remember, one of the fans’ main concerns, namely, that they wouldn’t get to see enough of Robert.

“It’s as close as possible to the book. [In the film] it’s an illusion when he appears. I think if you do it with voiceover as they do in the book, it would end up being quite cheesy. But it’s very subtle, my presence. It’s actually quite scary because Bella is kind of going a little bit nuts. I was worried about having too much presence because you really need that relationship with Jacob to drive to the third and fourth books. You really need that triangle.” Pattinson was telling the media a while back.

Until something more palpable on “New Moon” is out, fans need to know a one-minute long clip should be aired at the MTV Movie Awards, like we also reported

They can not do this!!! Pleeease! And then altering the ending of this movie...i dont know about this they are totally ruining the saga well movie wise at least! Its a shame the books are ridiculous the movies on the other hand quite questionable!!

I was afraid they were gonna make breaking dawn into a movie. i have a feeling i might be disappointed. breaking dawn- it's either gonna be really good or really crap and if they keep changing things now, then who knows how eclipse and breaking dawn will turn out. i guess it's obvious who the fan target is- NOT US. see, that's what happens when you turn books into movies. the READERS are always the minority and let's face it, movies are more appealing than reading a book. i'm more of a visual person so a movie version would help me lots but when it's totally different from the book, then what's the point of watching the movie?

That is going to change the WHOLE purpose of Breaking Dawn!!! Because in Breaking Dawn ,at the end of the book when Irene comes and sees Nessie, because thats when the Voltri comes and tried to have the fight with the Cullens and the Cullens friends!!

yeah at the end of new moon edward promises bella that he'll turn her into a vampire only if she promises to marry him... and she does agree to it, but she doesnt actually become a vampire until the last book.... so idk why there gonna change up the proposal scene cause its kinda of pretty sweet in a way...

They're changing it to make it more of a FAN PLEASER? To make more effing MONEY, basically? Just keep it to the effing book-- Edward has hours and hours of time in all four books, it's not as if the whiny gorram fans will stop WATCHING the movie just because Jacob appears in more than one scene. So, so annoyed about this. This film is going to be absolutely AWFUL sheerly because they're too silly to realise that the fans WANT it to be like the book.

Epic, EPIC failure from whoever made these decisions.

Stephanie was really pleased, so i think that says something .. she is the one who would be most against changes with the saga being her baby ..
it'll all be fine ....

Ok New Moon is Gonna Be really Good. Yes the strayed away from alot of the books Elements. But at the End of the Day You will watch and leave the movies With the intisaption for the next one. As Far as breaking dawn I find it hard to belive that it will be one movie. They should make it into two or three. This is Simply to the the fact that you Have Bella Human, Jacobs P.O.V. and than Bella Vampire. All this will be to much to fit into one movie Honestly. I cant Wait for New Moon Im really Excited to Watch Im Going to forget the Book and watch it like that. Because If you Compare you will Not enjoy the movie
