The entire “New Moon” cast has moved to Italy to work on the second installment of “The Twilight Saga,” several media outlets inform – and
SocialiteLife even has the photos to prove it. As expected, fans have already started to camp outside the set for a chance to meet their idols, who remain focused on their work.
Although initial speculation had it that there was a lot of tension on the set of “New Moon” – either because Robert Pattinson could not decide on which female co-star to woe, dine and wine, or because he was jealous of the increased attention younger Taylor Lautner was getting – recent photos are telling a different story. Not only does Robert seem in no way romantically involved with Kristen Stewart (who was accompanied on set by her boyfriend), but the entire cast is in high spirits and certainly not fighting over trivia, as the tabloids would have it.
According to reports in the US media, Robert flew to Italy straight from Cannes, where, as fans must already know, he was kind enough to take part in an amfAR charity auction, which had him
offer two kisses for almost $50,000. All the money raised in the auction goes to an AIDS fund. Kristen and Ashley Greene, on the other hand, came from Vancouver, where they wrapped up a couple of scenes, also for “New Moon.”
Speaking of “New Moon,” fans have been recently overwhelmed by details on the highly anticipated production, with Summit launching a new website to introduce the official poster, cast members finally speaking more about the plot and what fans should expect from the second film, and even director Chris Weitz joining in all the fun to offer
insights on the production – along with a couple of new photos.
The first minute-long completed segment from the film will premiere on May 31 during the MTV Movie Awards, if reports in the media are accurate. To introduce it, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be making their first official appearance as a trio – posing for the first
teaser poster not included.
