New Mommy Adriana Lima Models at Victoria’s Secret 2012 Show

There was never a more gorgeous ringmaster than Adriana Lima at last night’s Victoria’s Secret 2012 show, held in New York City and recorded to be broadcast later. Lima gave birth just two months ago.

The stunning model, who has never made a secret of how much work she puts into looking this good – and especially about her drastic routine before each annual VS show – pulled double shifts for this one.

Adriana gave birth to her second child two months ago and, because she wanted to be on the runway with the other Angels, worked really hard to lose whatever weight she gained while pregnant.

In all fairness, that was very little but, even so, Adriana wanted to look her best – which she did, as the photo attached to this article can also confirm.

Just Jared notes that this was just one of the outfits Lima modeled, that of sizzling ringmaster.

It was a “duchess satin ringleader gown with a Victoria’s Secret Gorgeous push-up bra and seamless waist using Swarovski Elements,” and Lima wore it during the “Circus” segment of the show.

“During the ‘Angels in Bloom’ segment, Adriana wore a rose petal shrug with leaf bustle along with the Victoria’s Secret Angel Fantasies push-up bra and garter skirt,” the celebrity e-zine writes.

As for how Lima managed to bounce back in shape so quickly after birth, the Daily Mail notes that she spent a large part of her day at the gym, boxing the pounds off and documenting her progress on Twitter.

Last year, right after the VS show, Lima landed herself in some hot water after saying she would basically starve before the show, because she could not afford to look anything but her best.

She later stated she’d been misquoted, that she would never do something so drastic that would put her health in danger.
