14 DAY TRIAL // Adele has been a mom for only about a couple of days (assuming the reports are accurate), but she’s already facing a barrage of nastiness from Internet trolls on Twitter, OMG Yahoo! reports.
Word in the press has it that the multi-Grammy winning singer gave birth to her first child on Friday.
Minutes after news broke, Twitter was already oozing with nastiness, with some people hiding behind their computers to write some of the vilest things ever.
Many, the aforementioned publication writes, wished both Adele and her son dead – and all because, it would seem, Adele is not a size 0.
“Aw Adele gave birth to a baby. Is it fat and handicapped lol? Just murder it already lol,” one user Tweeted. The account has been deleted ever since.
It was just the beginning: for some reason, more people went online to say the same.
“I’ll go see her in the UK and kill her,” one said, to which another replied, “And kill her baby.”
Other Twitter users wrote to say that, if the baby died, Adele would have inspiration to write another depressing album like her latest, which was the result of a bad breakup.
Consequently, it would actually be “good” for her if she lost her son, they argued.
Then, of course, there were the fat jokes: “Adele was pregnant? I thought she was fat.”
Neither Adele nor her team has responded in any way to these sick attacks. Knowing how private she is and how much she hates talking about herself to the press, chances are she will never address the trolls, and just let this be water under the bridge.
