We've seen a full-ATX motherboard and now we can look at a significantly smaller one, courtesy of Axiomtek.

The company has introduced the MANO872 motherboard, a mini-ITX platform that somehow manages to cram not just support for every Core-series CPU up to Core i7 (LGA 1155), but also room for 16 GB RAM, a PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot, four USB 3.0 connectors, two SATA 6 Gbps ports and two SATA 3 Gbps ports.

A quartet of USB 2.0 ports and three display connectors are available as well (DVI, LVDS, DisplayPort).

The SATA III storage units (6 Gbps) can be configured in RAID 0 or 1 modes.

All in all, the mainboard has all it needs, and more, to work well in kiosk, point-of-sale (POS), arcade gaming, digital signage, medical and surveillance monitoring applications. No price revealed though.
