The HDD/SSD dock actually has a sleek, sliding cover protecting it

Most desktop cases that have top-mounted hard drive / solid state drive docks leave a bit to be desired in the aesthetics department, since chassis makers seem to have a hard time installing some sort of concealing mechanism.

Indeed, it's rather strange that many such cases lack a way to hide the top dock and I/O panel from view, even though many have a door covering the front panel.

The case that Aerocool has just revealed, though, called GT-A Mid-Tower, has a nice, fin-like cover you can slide down and back, all the while not really affecting the airflow provided by the shell-like vent structure.

Other than that, the new GT-A from Aerocool has its own set of aesthetic and practical embellishments, as required by a high-end, gaming-grade chassis: support for mainboards up to ATX size, 310 mm-long graphics cards (12/20 inches), CPU coolers of up to 165 mm in height (6.49 inches), and support for coolers with backplates.

There's a washable dust filter under the PSU location too, a pair of pre-drilled, rubber-protected openings for water cooling pipes at the back, plus a pair of HDD cages, one for three 3.5-inch HDDs or three 2.5-inch SSDs, and one for three 2.5-inch drives only.

The Aerocool GT-A case has a price of €67.90 / $67.90 (Black) or €69.90 / $69.90. Both have side windows.
