The company plans to continue its advertising push for the Surface tablet

Microsoft is reportedly getting ready to launch a new Surface tablet commercial, this time focusing a bit more on the actual device and less on the available accessories.

As you most likely know from the previous ads, Microsoft has promoted the Touch Covers quite a lot, trying to show everyone that this particular accessory can play the role of a protective cover and of a keyboard at the same time.

This time, Microsoft seems to put the focus on the device and less on the available peripherals. Neowin.net writes that Microsoft has aired a new Surface commercial in the United States that showcases the USB ports and the Office productivity suite, calling the tablet a great replacement for a traditional notebook.

The company will most likely publish the ad online too, so I’ll update his article when the video reaches the web.

Update: the ad is now online, so click here to watch it.
