14 DAY TRIAL // Lumia 1330 is expected to be Microsoft’s next phablet that sees daylight, at least before 1520 gets an official successor, so it’s easy to see why interest in this particular device is growing lately.
Even though Microsoft doesn’t seem to be willing to share any information on Lumia 1330, at least not for now, sources close to the matter have already disclosed some technical specs and today we’ve also gotten a few more photos showing the actual dimensions of the device.
This photos coming from China and posted by NPU show the back cover of the 1330 compared to the Lumia 930 Gold Edition, which was launched last week. The 930 comes with a 5-inch display, and most of you are already familiar with its dimensions, so it’s easy to see how big the 1330 will actually be.
5.7-inch screen very likely to be offered
As you can all see in the photo gallery after the jump, the Lumia 1330 comes with a bigger screen than that of the 930, and the aforementioned sources claim that the device is very likely to boast a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 px and Gorilla Glass 3 coating.
At the same time, the 1330 is expected to be offered with a 14-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics on the back, while a 5-megapixel unit is very likely to be available on the front for selfies and video calls.
Under the hood, the Lumia 1330 could come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad core processor and Adreno 305 GPU but also with 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal store.
As far as its release date is concerned, not much is known at this point, but as we can all see in these leaked photos, development work is most likely completed, so we shouldn’t be very far from the moment when Microsoft officially takes the wraps off this new model.
Chances are that the Lumia 1330 will make its first public appearance at the MWC 2015 in March, so the new phone should be here in just a couple of months.
