While Dr. Conrad Murray’s involuntary manslaughter trial is taking place in Los Angeles, Michael Jackson fans from all over the world have at least one reason to rejoice: a new album of the late star will be released shortly.

The new material will include never before heard tracks, remixes and mash-ups, Music-News informs, and will be released in a standard and a deluxe version.

Its release is meant to coincide and capitalize on the Cirque du Soleil show dedicated to Michael Jackson, which kicked off the other night.

“It’s now been confirmed that Immortal will be available to buy from November 21. The release is in conjunction with Cirque du Soleil's new show Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour,” Music-News reports.

“The record includes re-workings of some of the King of Pop’s biggest tracks, mash-ups and pieces of songs which weren’t included on previous LPs,” says the e-zine.

“Among them are a new version of Jackson 5 hit ABC and a choir who Michael worked with for They Don’t Really Care About Us,” Music-News further says.

“Two versions of Immortal will be available to buy – a single album and a deluxe two disc record,” adds the same publication.

For the time being, these are all the details available to press on the new material.

Nevertheless, chances are that, with it too, just like with the “Michael Forever” concert tribute planned for October 8, fans will consider the timing off, since it diverts attention from the legal proceedings against Murray.

As noted above, Michael’s personal physician is standing trial for manslaughter, after it was determined that the singer died of acute Propofol intoxication – the same powerful sedative that Murray was administering to him every night to help him sleep.

The latest testimonies include those of the ER doctors who tried to resuscitate Michael before pronouncing him dead, the aforementioned media outlet notes.
