A new beta for Maxthon browser has emerged recently, adding new features that extend its functionality. Improvements and fixes are also available, as always.

Among the most prominent additions to Maxthon 3.4.2.600 beta are supports for saving web pages as MHT files in Ultra Mod and integration of auto update and synchronization for extensions.

Other new features available in this release are the display of a tooltip when extensions are successfully installed and support for HTML5 color input.

Repairs part of this build touch on the main frame, Webkit core and the extension platform. They address display issues with the toolbar, some language characters, icons and even the way pages were shown. Additionally, some error pages would not be shown in their entirety.

The full list of modifications can be checked on this page. Download Maxthon Browser; also available as a portable download.
