New reports indicate something is definitely going on in Cupertino, with stock of various Apple products dwindling down fast.

First off, “proven sources” that are close to Best Buy’s distribution centers have told Mac-centric blog 9to5Mac that supplies of Airport Extreme are “exceptionally low.” They say the same goes for the Mac mini.

The blog had previously heard rumors of these product refreshes approaching fast, therefore the Best Buy low supply can only add as more confirmation that new products are on the way.

However, that’s not all. Apple fans living in Canada, New Zealand, and Australia are noticing that Apple’s Time Capsule stock is running low on the company’s very store.

It is worth noting that OS X Lion testers have found that Apple is dropping "AirPort" from its vocabulary in favor of the more widespread term "Wi-Fi."

With AirPort stock now running low, it is not too far fetched to assume Apple is launching all-new solutions altogether.

John Lewis, a major UK retailer also reports depleted stock, but of MacBook Airs - both the 11.6-inch configuration and the 13.3-inch version.

In addition to new AirPorts and Mac minis, Apple is also believed to plan the introduction of new MacBook Air models featuring Intel’s Thunderbolt I/O and Sandy Bridge processors.

With the exception of the white MacBook, the MacBook Air remains the only portable Mac to lack Intel’s new enhancements.

On the desktop front, the Mac mini is most likely first in line to get these, but the Mac Pro is also overdue for a refresh.

In fact, the company headquartered at 1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino, California is reportedly testing an all-new version of the Mac Pro that is said to be smaller and narrower than the current tower computers.

The company has recently discontinued its dedicated server solutions, and it is believed new Mac Pro models will feature at least one configuration designed with server needs in mind.

The Mac mini is already sold in a server configuration lacking the optical drive in favor of an additional 500 GB hard drive for a total of 1 TB of storage.
