The realm of video cards has again been entered by Micro-Star International, whose collection of graphics boards has expanded to include a new Twin Frozr II model.

Those familiar with MSI's product collection will probably know of the Twin Frozr II cooling system for video adapters.

As a reminder, it is a dual-slot solution with three copper heatpipes of 6mm each, plus a pair of 8mm SuperPipes.

Their job is to conduct the heat (drawn out of the GPU by the nickel-plated copper base) to the heatsink, leaving it to the two 80mm PWM fans to disperse it.

The newest item to boast the Twin Frozr II is a version of NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 560 Ti graphics adapter.

In this case, the main distinctive feature, besides the cooler of course, is that fact that the amount of VRAM is twice as high as the standard.

While GTX 560 Ti add-in boards have 1 GB of GDDR5 memory, this one has 2 GB of the same sort of RAM.

For those that want to know the rest of the spec list, MSI's offer has the expected 384 CUDA cores (shaders) and clock speeds of 822 MHz for the GPU, 1,645 MHz for the shaders themselves and, for the memory, 4,008 MHz.

Additionally, one will find dual-DVI and mini HDMI ports, along with MSI's Military Class II components, for extra endurance (Hi-C Capacitors with a tantalum core, all-solid caps with an aluminum core and Super Ferrite Chokes).

Online stores should already have the N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II 2GD5 up for pre-order, along with an overclocked model.

Said overclocked board has 880 MHz/1760 MHz and 4,008 MHz clocks for the GPU, shaders and VRAM, respectively, and no other differences.

Prospective buyers will have to make sure that they are willing to part with roughly 240 Euro.
