New “Looper” Clip Shows Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Transformation

One of the movies that's been keeping movie buffs talking excitedly for quite some time is a sci-fi action thriller called “Looper,” starring Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the same role.

Above is a new promo clip for it, in which Joe and director Rian Johnson talk about how difficult it was to get the former to look like a younger version of Bruce Willis.

As we also noted on a previous occasion, “Looper” is set in a future where time-traveling is possible but illegal, so it's used by the mafia to send back loopers to eliminate their enemies.

Willis plays one such time-traveling hired gun but his bosses are done with his services, so they send him back in time to off his younger self, and thus close the loop for good.

“Looper” will be out in September.
